Proposed Changes to Parish Mass Times

Fr Michael Fitzgerald PP:

“Some time ago, our Apostolic Administrator, Archbishop Dermot Clifford, asked all parishes in the Diocese to make a review of the number of Masses in our parishes.

Up to now I have postponed that review, but as we are entering a New Year, I now believe that a review is necessary.

Having consulted with Canon O’Leary and Fr. Greene, we would now like to propose the following changes for the New Year.  In making any changes, we have to balance availability to the Parishioners and what’s possible for the Priests.”

“I have got some responses to the proposed Mass times and we look forward to hearing from more Parishioners in the coming days, before any change is made.  All responses will be seriously taken into account.  No introduction will now be made until the last weekend in January or the first weekend in February.”
